British sweetheart, Emma Watson wore a piece from Peter Pilotto's Resort 2013 collection, which for me seems to be a perfect choice. Although I could see Emma in other dresses from the same collection, I still think she looked pretty cool last night.
Peter Pilotto, who is one of the hottest designers in UK right now, loves to experiment with the textures, fabrics and prints and in his Resort 13 collection he achieved a very interesting effect balancing somewhere between Mary Katranzou's prints and Balenciaga's geometry.
And obviously, such an event as MTV's Music Video Awards is the best occasion to wear something more casual and not so elegant as it is required at the other red carpet events.
Plus for Emma for promoting British fashion!
Miley Cyrus, which is the most successful in "breaking up with Disney image" confirms her new style by wearing a long black gown with the rock and roll feel. Obviously, that's what is required when you have an Agyness Deyn's haircut. And everything would be perfect if Miley didn't decide to add extra volume to her hair... Because this time she exaggerated a little bit. But dress - GREAT. Go, Miley!

The only good news about Katy's look at the VMA this year is that her hair is black again. I can't believe she didn't have any other (BETTER) options than this black dress with colorful details on the sheer skirt. Something is just not right. Especially when it comes to such a personality and a body as Katty Perry's.
