LANA DEL REY "RIDE"

OMG it's crazy how amazing is the new video from Lana del Rey. It's actually more like a short film than a video, with really long intro and many different plots. The costumes are beautiful, Lana is not only a great singer but also a very promising actress. Do you think that cinema may be her next project?
That would be interesting.

KENZO, OPENING CEREMONY AND DVF IN SOLANGE'S "LOSING YOU" MUSIC VIDEO

Solange just won everything. Her new song and video called "Losing you" may be this moment in her career when most people will start to see her as an individual singer and artist, not only Beyonce's little sister. Her reference to Grimes' work in the music and the amazing moving images is combined with great fashion sense inspired by retro black community in Congo. AND Solange is wearing the designs from Kenzo, Opening Ceremony,  Diane von Furstenberg, Suno and J Crew. SICK VIDEO! I'll definetely have my eye on Solange's next projects!

"Italian photographer Daniele Tamagni, whose glossy book Gentleman of Bacongo partly inspired the music video, said yesterday that the 26-year-old's video was supposed to be shot in Brazzaville. Tamagni's book documents the Le Sape Society (sape is French for "dressing with class"), and follows sapeurs, who dress in bowler hats and tailored suits and smoke cigars while strutting around in Brazzaville, in the Republic of the Congo. Knowles' s video eventually had to be moved to Cape Town - to coincide with her cover shoot with the local Elle magazine's November issue. Tamagni said yesterday: "We decided the original idea of Congo was too complicated so we moved it to Langa, which reminded her so much of Brazzaville - especially the atmosphere. "She was trying to show vibrancy, and give the appearance of positivity [in the video]." In an interview on Monday, Knowles told internet publication Pitchfork: "When Melina [Matsoukas] and I decided to film Losing You in South Africa, we really didn't have a real firm concept in place. "It was sort of a 'grab a camera and let's go' moment. "We called Daniele to guide us, and some of my friends from New York came down to Cape Town and we all had a very damn good time." Tamagni, who had never travelled to South Africa before, said he was emotional because his work had "inspired a musician". He said Knowles had been "really attentive" throughout the project. In the video, Knowles invades people's kitchens, barbershops and a tailoring shop, takes a 15-seater taxi like a normal Capetonian, goes bike riding around a neighbourhood, and takes a dip in a community swimming pool - all while dressed to the nines. Despite the melancholy lyrics, she couldn't seem happier, strutting around in designs from Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, Suno, J Crew and DVF. The video was directed by Matsoukas, a certified star in the music video production scene. Matsoukas directed this year's MTV Video Music Video of the Year, Rihanna's We Found Love. Matsoukas has also directed several of BeyoncĂ©'s videos (including Diva, Upgrade U, Green Light, Suga Mama and Why Don't You Love Me), Rihanna's Rude Boy, Lady Gaga's Just Dance, Jennifer Lopez's I'm Into You, and Christina Aguilera's newest single Your Body."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S "YOUR BODY" MUSIC VIDEO

Christina Aguilera is having the tackiest times in her entire career. She has always been sweet pinky pop star, sometimes more elegant ("Back to basics" album) but this image she is having right now is like a rainbow vomit.
With her voice, she could be an amazing diva, but with the this styling no one will treat her seriously. She looks like a mix between Lady Gaga few years ago, Demi Lovato and unicorn. WHY?!

ANNA WINTOUR'S DEJA VU

Vogue's editor, Anna Wintour attended yesterday the Barack Obama Victory Fund 2012 Event, which she also co-hosted. Wearing Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress, Wintour proves she is not the one who wear the outfit only once.  She was seen in the same dress back in January during Versace Etoile De LA Mur sunglasses collection launch party in Paris.

MILAN FASHION WEEK SS 2013: GUCCI

I am 100% sure, that during Milan Fashion Week we gonna find few really beautiful Oscar gowns.
Starting with Gucci, where Frida Giannini presented colorful, flawless and wavy collection with simple cuts and no accessories. Several gowns, but not too spectacular. Better for less official events, premieres.

LFW S/S 2013: WILLOW FOR THE RED CARPET

WILLOW debuted in 2003 at Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week and premiered at London Fashion Week in 2004 with British Vogue declaring: "The collection was both beautiful and varied enough to convince her fans that she is a talent set to last." The following year, WILLOW was selected as one of ten brands to have a fully sponsored Runway show during New York Fashion Week. In 2007, to further enhance her skill of draping, Creative Director, Kit Willow worked with a Master of draping in Paris.
Kit Willow is fascinated by juxtapositions that have become signature to her tailoring, silk drapery and corsetry. WILLOW has developed a cult following and is recognised for the consistency in inspiring design and quality of garment finish.

This beautiful, very light collection is a perfect solution for the red carpet stars, but off the red carpet. Dinners, meeting with friends or visit in TV show - all that with paparazzi everywhere around, that's when Willow should be worn. Apart from few dresses, which actually are also good for the red carpet, less-official events.
I add Willow to my list of favourite designers.

ALEXA CHUNG STYLE

As the London Fashion Week starts today, I decided to go through the style of one of the most significant celebrities for the British fashion.
Alexa Chung, who is the winner of British Style Award and ambassador of British Fashion Council, is also a determinant for many girls, when it comes to mixing different styles.
Alexa's style is a mix of British style, Swinging London from 1960s, punk rock, 1990s and some modern elegance. Have a look how she does that:
